¿VORAX es una corredora o una transportista?

Una corredora de fletes. VORAX no tiene unidades propias: contrata el servicio con transportistas como usted y responde ante el cliente como porteador contractual. Por eso el expediente y las pólizas se revisan en serio.

¿Cuánto tarda el alta?

Depende de usted. Con la documentación completa y las pólizas validadas con la aseguradora, se resuelve en días. Sin expediente completo no se puede liberar ninguna Orden de Servicio: así está pactado en el Contrato Marco.

¿Se puede trabajar sin firmar contrato?

No. Antes del primer viaje se firma un Contrato Marco que fija tarifas, plazos de pago, responsabilidades y qué pasa si algo sale mal. Es lo que le da a usted con qué reclamar.

¿Qué unidades se ocupan?

Caja seca de 53 y 48 pies, unidades menores para distribución urbana, plataforma y lowboy. VORAX no opera cadena de frío, así que no se contrata refrigerado.

¿Se paga anticipo para casetas y combustible?

Se puede pactar un anticipo operativo cuando la ruta lo justifica. Queda asentado en la Orden de Servicio y se descuenta del pago final.

¿Qué pasa si el cliente cambia la cita de descarga?

Se avisa por el mismo canal donde se coordinó el viaje y se recalcula lo que corresponda por estadía, con las horas libres que ya venían pactadas. No se le pide absorber el cambio.

What it takes to haul for VORAX

No fine print: this is what gets reviewed before the first load, and it is the same for everyone. If your paperwork is current, onboarding is quick.

Company

Tax status certificate (CSF) issued within the last 30 days
Valid government ID of the owner or legal representative
Articles of incorporation and power of attorney, if a legal entity
Proof of address issued within the last 3 months
Bank statement cover page with CLABE in the carrier's name
Positive, current tax compliance opinion

Operation

Current federal or local motor carrier permit
Current registration and emissions check for every unit
Current federal driver's license for every assigned driver
Read-only access to the satellite tracking of the units

Insurance

Current general liability, minimum 19,000 UMA, with proof of payment
Motor truck cargo liability policy, with certificate and endorsements
VORAX validates policies directly with the insurer; a policy number is not enough

Owner-operators also provide a statement of having no subordinate employees plus current IMSS coverage or private medical insurance. It is for your own protection: without it, a highway accident has no one behind it.

How payment works, plainly

It is every carrier's first question, and the answer is in writing in the Master Agreement before you load.

The rate closes before loading

It lives in the Freight Confirmation, with the amount, the lane, free time and detention. Nothing gets renegotiated after the trip.

The clock starts at the Delivery Receipt

Not at invoicing, and not when the customer pays. The day delivery is signed, the payment term starts, and that document is generated in the system, not in a notebook.

VAT withholding applies to individuals only

Individuals get 4% VAT withheld and receive their Withholding Certificate. Legal entities have nothing withheld. The system calculates it, not a person.

Bank changes require a verification call

An email asking to change the bank account is never enough. We call the phone number registered on day one. It protects your money and ours.

Where capacity is needed

These are the lanes with recurring volume. If your base sits on one of them, the conversation is shorter.

If you run a lane that is not listed, say so anyway: the network grows with what comes in.

Frequently asked questions

Is VORAX a broker or a carrier?: A freight broker. VORAX owns no trucks: it contracts the service with carriers like you and answers to the shipper as contractual carrier. That is why the file and the policies get reviewed seriously.
How long does onboarding take?: It depends on you. With complete documentation and policies validated with the insurer, it takes days. No Service Order can be released without a complete file: that is written into the Master Agreement.
Can we work without signing a contract?: No. Before the first trip we sign a Master Agreement setting rates, payment terms, liability and what happens if something goes wrong. It is what gives you something to claim with.
What equipment is used?: 53' and 48' dry vans, smaller units for urban distribution, flatbed and lowboy. VORAX does not run cold chain, so no reefer is contracted.
Are advances paid for tolls and fuel?: An operating advance can be agreed when the lane justifies it. It is recorded in the Service Order and deducted from the final payment.
What if the shipper moves the delivery appointment?: You are notified through the same channel the trip was coordinated on, and detention is recalculated against the free hours already agreed. You are not asked to absorb the change.
